Windows seven 7 boot error \boot\BCD 0xC0000098 0xC0000034

Me dió este error un windows 7 después de pasarle le LiveCD de AVG.


Al arrancar muestra una pantalla en inglés que dice problemas con el arranque:

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or sotfware change might be the
cause. To fix the problem:

 1. Insert your windows installaiton disc and restart your computer.
 2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next."
 3. Click "Repair your Computer".

If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer
manufacturer for assistance.

File: \Boot\BCD

Status: 0xC0000098  ( or  0xC0000034  see below)

Info: The Windows Boot Configuration Data file is missing required information.

El error cambia entre 0xC0000098 y 0xC0000034  al hacer lo de abajo.

Check if you are able to get the recovery options by pressing the key F8 on your computer.
a.     Restart your computer if it is powered on.
b.     Tap the F8 key after your computer initially powers on.
c.      Once you see the Advanced Boot Options menu you can stop tapping.
From the Advanced Boot options, check if you can get the System Recovery or repair option. This would take you to Windows recovery options. If you can get to the recovery options, you can rebuild BDC. Follow the below article:

If the recovery option does not appear, then I suggest that you contact your computer manufacturer to obtain the disc to repair the computer.

1. Put the Windows Vista or Windows 7 installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.
2. Press a key when you are prompted.
3. Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then click Next.
4. Click Repair your computer.
5. Click the operating system that you want to repair, and then click Next.
6. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Command Prompt.
7. Type Bootrec.exe, and then press ENTER.

Opción recomendada:

Arrancar con el instalador,
Elegir idioma  y siguientes
Reparar tu ordenador

X: (Your_Windows_Partition_Drive) es la de boot, no es la que tiene \windows

bootrec /FixMBR
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /ScanOs
bootrec /RebuildBCD

-- Esto es para comprobar que la partición X: es la activa
